The Best for the Best - Teacher Appreciation Week Giveaway and Blog Hop

Hi Friends,
It's Teacher Appreciation Week!

It's the week we're the rock stars of our classrooms and feel the love from our students and their families.

I'm glad to be a part of a blog hop hosted by Amy at "Teaching in Blue Jeans". Check out her blog for some great teaching resources.

Teaching In Blue Jeans

Read all about a great resource I've created for my classroom, then continue on the blog hop by visiting some great teacher blogs.  Be sure to enter our AWESOME "The Best of the Best" giveaway to win a ton of great prizes in the grade level you teach.  You can enter to win one grade-specific bundle or all of them!

I'm happy to be giving away my fun math pack called, "Graph With Me".

Keep reading to see how my newest CCSS-aligned math resource has helped my first graders learn to create and interpret data on bar graphs, pictographs, and tally charts.  It's fun and interactive, too!

My first graders discover how fun math can be as they learn to create and interpret data on various types of graphs using this resource.  They work in groups or independently to read and create their own pictographs, bar graphs, and tally charts.

They discover how to create tally charts, pictographs, and bar graphs through collaborative experiences with their classmates.

Some of the graphing activities have students choose pictures from a bag to create data on their graphs.  Once the graphs are completed, they answer questions and interpret their own data!

Working with a partner makes this activity interactive, and the mystery graph bags are a huge hit, too!  They love not knowing what comes out of the bags next.

Students compare and contrast their data with others to see that not all of their graphs are the same.

I created this pack of graphs to be leveled for all my learners.  Some students interpret graphs that already contain data on them while others are ready to create and read their very own graphs.

Some activities also require students to survey their classmates to create the data for their graphs.  Again, working with friends helps all students build on their "graph sense" and become graphing experts!

Graph With Me  is a set of 20 ready-to-print graphing activities which include tally charts, pictographs, and bar graphs.  These activities are great to use with partners or individually.  They are meant to be used interactively to help students learn from others as well.  Students are encouraged to build upon addition and subtraction foundations when interpreting their data, too.

You can grab this Ready-to-Print resource on sale May 6-7 during TpT's Teacher Appreciation Sale (use code TPTXO), or you can enter to win it by entering this rafflecopter giveaway.
